Harms Commission Meeting Minutes 30th March

Dear Friend,

The Alcohol Health Alliance is taking a fresh look at the harm that individuals, families and communities suffer from alcohol and would welcome your help. If you have experienced such harm, whether personally, in your family or social circle, please take a few minutes to share your experience with us, particularly looking back at what could have made a difference at some stage in that journey.

This will allow us to make some real-life recommendations to make a difference.  We would be delighted if you could record 1-5 minutes (NOT LONGER PLEASE) on your phone or your computer, or write up to 500 words and email this to harms_commission@ahauk.org by 4 May 2020. If you wish, we can keep your experience anonymous or change names, but please provide your name and contact details in case we need to check something with you.

We may wish to use a transcript of your recording, or the recording itself in the course of our work (for example, when launching a report or on our website) and it would be helpful to know whether you would be happy to do this.

Don’t worry if you are not comfortable with sharing your story publicly, your evidence will still be useful for our research.  You can also always change your opinion, and we will get back in touch to ask permission before using your evidence publicly. If you have any questions, please contact the support team at harms_commission@ahauk.org

Yours etc
